As the careers of women in science are still hampered by gender biases, the Learning Planet Institute has joined forces with the L’Oréal Foundation in the educational programme For Girls in Science, supported and financed by the Foundation.
2021-2023
The For Girls in Science programme stimulates and encourages scientific vocations in secondary school girls in the second, third and fourth years of secondary school, in order to fight against the underrepresentation of women in sciences. This extracurricular support programme is punctuated by inspiring meetings and by a range of cultural and scientific activities.
In Paris, For Girls in Science benefits from the expertise of our youth education team, particularly for the design of scientific challenges and the development of a fun launch day with scientific and engineering workshops.
