On September 4, 2024, the Institute, in partnership with the UNU and its partners, will reward the eight refugee athletes taking part in the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games - Salman Abbariki, Guillaume Junior Atangana, Hadi Darvish, Amelio Castro Grueso, Hadi Hassanzada, Sayed Amir Hossein Hosseini, Ibrahim Al Hussein and Zakia Khudadadi - for their perseverance and extraordinary performances.
