En permettant aux gens de construire ensemble n&#8217;importe quel type de communaut\u00e9, l&#8217;internet est devenu un laboratoire d&#8217;exp\u00e9rimentation de l&#8217;autogouvernance. Les groupes qui cr\u00e9ent des communaut\u00e9s en ligne doivent surmonter les difficult\u00e9s li\u00e9es au recrutement de ressources limit\u00e9es autour d&#8217;objectifs communs. Il se sp\u00e9cialise dans l&#8217;utilisation des communaut\u00e9s en ligne comme syst\u00e8mes mod\u00e8les pour les ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes institutionnels et organisationnels \u00e9mergents. Il est professeur associ\u00e9 en <a href=\"https:\/\/communication.ucdavis.edu\/people\/sethfrey\">communication<\/a> \u00e0 l&#8217;universit\u00e9 de Californie \u00e0 Davis, affili\u00e9 \u00e0 l&#8217;<a href=\"https:\/\/ostromworkshop.indiana.edu\/\">atelier Ostrom<\/a> \u00e0 l&#8217;universit\u00e9 d&#8217;Indiana et directeur de recherche \u00e0 <a href=\"https:\/\/metagov.org\/\">Metagov<\/a>.
