The Thematic Workshops is a week-long event taking place from February 23rd to 27th, where Master 2 AIRE M2 and PhD FIRE D2 students organise a scientific conference by inviting speakers on a specific topic. <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

On the Frontiers of Art and Health: Listening, Sensing, Transforming, Becoming<\/strong><\/p>\n

Speakers<\/strong>Isabelle Wachsmuth, Art & Health, World Health Organization (WHO), Dr. Laura Nasi, Integrative Oncology, Fanie Fabia, Art Therapy, Yazied, Narration & Writing<\/p>\n

What if art was not outside of science, but interconnected at its frontiers? This event offers a transdisciplinary exploration of how music, visual expression, and narration serve as regulators of physiological states and pathways to health. Across cultures and centuries, these creative forms have been used not simply as productions, but as mirrors of emotions and portals to the creation of meaning.<\/p>\n

The program explores these mechanisms through an evidence-based lens while honoring the profoundly subjective nature of art. Our aim is to demonstrate that art is not a mere accessory to health, but a fundamental pathway to it. By combining subjective experience with objective measurement, the session illuminates how transdisciplinary methods can strengthen well-being and inspire future research.<\/p>\n

This interactive masterclass bridges the International Framework for Art & Health (WHO) with practical science, including integrative oncology and mind-body approaches. Participants will engage in immersive workshops, ranging from visual arts to narration and contribute to a \u201cResearch-in-Practice\u201d protocol using real-time data. It is a call to sense, transform, and understand our shared human heritage through the transformative power of the arts.<\/p>\n
