L\u20192022 Summer University on the SDGs<\/a> has enabled us to find creative and concrete solutions to health and environmental problems! Take a look at our 2022 projects!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For a month, students from all over the world - and from all walks of life - gathered at the MakerLab<\/a> the\u2019Planet Learning Institute<\/a> to learn how to prototype open source, frugal and concrete solutions for a more sustainable society. This year, students presented innovative projects to tackle health issues and their link with the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Supported by\u2019Challenge Institute,<\/a> co-founded by\u2019Learning Planet Institute<\/a> and theUniversit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9<\/a>, This summer school takes place every year from mid-June to the end of July. This immersion program, entirely based on project-based learning, has been developed in partnership with other higher education institutions: the\u2019University of Geneva<\/a> and theTsinghua University<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students are carefully selected to represent a wide range of backgrounds, expertise and perspectives: natural sciences, humanities, medicine, IT, design, games or the arts. The teams then use the best of this interdisciplinary environment to shape their ideas and bring their projects to fruition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An SDG-oriented game: help your mermaid tamagotchi survive pollution and famine by managing its village and fields.

Year after year, the Learning Planet Institute empowers students to take action on the local and global challenges they face. In the Makerlab, they learn to build and prototype frugal solutions, and to embrace the \u201cmaker\u201d and \u201copen source\u201d mindset, enabling them to collectively create a more sustainable world.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
