The \u201cTeachers as researchers<\/em>\u201daims to strengthen collaboration between digital educators, collectively exploring solutions to educational challenges through Europe-wide research methods, as part of the. European hub for digital education<\/a>. By joining this European hub, educators (teachers, professors, education professionals, etc.) choose to reflect on their pedagogical practices through research, in order to reduce the gap between theory and practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A digital network of education and teaching professionals <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Enseignants Chercheurs workshops are dedicated to all professionals working in the field of digital education and facing challenges. They aim to involve participants in collaborative research and the collection of good educational practices with their peers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Network members have access to various workshops where educators can work together to find answers to the challenges they face in their daily professional lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A participatory research methodology for discussing teaching practices<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Teachers as Researchers<\/strong> uses a participatory research methodology - based on collaborative intelligence, writing and peer review - to offer knowledge-sharing and process-building opportunities to all those involved in education (teachers, school principals, designers, educational coaches, etc.), from all educational sectors, on a European scale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teachers as Researchers focuses on three pillars<\/strong> following :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. Challenges<\/strong> - identification and description of challenges<\/strong> common to all educational practices<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Actions<\/strong> - identification, description and testing of\u2019actions<\/strong> to help solve the challenge.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Feedback<\/strong> - collect observations on the impact and results of actions in a feedback report.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
    <\/div>\n\n\n\n

    Each stage of the process will also be the subject of a peer review<\/strong>, in other words, by other educators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In other words, from an action-research perspective, this translates as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Identifying a research question<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Identification of potential research hypotheses and intervention planning<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Analysis and discussion of results<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      On a European scale<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Teachers as Researchers is part of the European hub for digital education<\/a> (EDEH), an initiative of the European Commission, funded by the Erasmus+ program (2021-2027) and managed by a consortium of organizations, under a service contract with the European Executive Agency for Education and Culture (EACEA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n


      The Learning Planet Institute's Teachers as Researchers team actively contributes to this hub by hosting monthly online collaborative workshops<\/strong> on how best to meet the key challenges of digital transformation in education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
