Through concrete examples, this session enabled us to gain a better understanding of this notion, and to nuance it in the face of the reality of organizations, of those who carry them out, and of the intention we give to this enigmatic - but not so enigmatic - concept. <em>raison d'\u00eatre<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>To give substance to this topic, we welcomed <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/duchaduong\/?locale=fr_FR\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Duc Ha Duong<\/a><\/strong> - Co-founder of\u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/officience.com\/fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Efficiency<\/a> and Chairman of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.passerellesnumeriques.org\/fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Digital gateways<\/a>, and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/williamlebedel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">William Lebedel<\/a><\/strong> - Founder of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bluerep.fr\/fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BlueRep<\/a>, a consulting firm that supports managers and organizations in meaningful projects. The conversation was guided by <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/morgane-mangeon-1149a2a3\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Morgane Mangeon<\/a><\/strong> - Project Manager for Transformation and Change Management at Learning Planet Institute - who herself led the process of defining the <em>Raison d'\u00eatre<\/em> of the Institute.<strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the participants, we were able to explore the intricacies of the <em>raison d'\u00eatre<\/em> of an organization. Lever of transformation for more sustainable societies or purpose washing? Visit <em>Raison d'\u00eatre<\/em> indispensable for an organization? What difficulties do we encounter in putting it into practice? The visions of both guests and participants differed, highlighting the delicate balance between the individual quest for meaning and the collective raison d'\u00eatre, as well as the sometimes arduous transition from intention to action. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.learningplanetinstitute.org\/en\/\">Learning Planet Institute<\/a>, we ourselves have immersed ourselves in this process of defining a <em>raison d'\u00eatre<\/em> of the Institute. The process has helped to bridge the gap between individual aspirations and collective intent, confirming the association's momentum. We speak of leadership through meaning.<\/em><\/strong><em> \u00bb<\/em>, William Lebedel<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Duc Ha Duong sees things the other way round. For him, the movement must be <em>bottom-up :<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u00ab <\/em><strong><em><em>if there is no <\/em><\/em>Raison d'\u00eatre<em><em>, If there's no overall movement, it becomes chaotic - back to my school of fish. If, on the other hand, there is a movement that works, then the work simply consists of observing, understanding and putting words to everyone's intentions.<\/em><\/em><\/strong><em> \u00bb<\/em>, <strong>Duc Ha Duong<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:28px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>So, does the raison d'\u00eatre derive from a <em>\u00ab<\/em> <em>leadership through meaning\u00bb<\/em> (William Lebedel) or a bottom-up movement (Duc Ha Duong)? Our team <a href=\"http:\/\/www.learningplanetinstitute.org\/en\/transformation-des-organisations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Organizational transformation<\/a> is determined to support organizations that wish to do so in their own reflection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">LA <em>RATIONALE D'\u00caTRE<\/em> AND THE QUEST FOR MEANING IN THE ORGANIZATION: FROM THE INDIVIDUAL TO THE COLLECTIVE AND VICE-VERSA<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In this article, you will find the beginnings of the <em>raison d'\u00eatre<\/em> organization, its institutionalization in France via the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.economie.gouv.fr\/loi-pacte-croissance-transformation-entreprises\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PACTE Act of 2019<\/a> its close link with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Through the example of the Learning Planet Institute and the exploration of its own <em>raison d'\u00eatre<\/em>, The discussion continues on the importance of individual meaning and its influence on collective purpose. Next, we look at another aspect of this concept: what impact can the raison d'\u00eatre - established by leadership - have on the collective.
