And it's a story of incredible fertility that needs to be told.\u00bb<\/em> With these words\u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fondationbs.org\/la-fondation\/gouvernance\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Olivier Brault<\/a>, General Manager of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fondationbs.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bettencourt Schueller Foundation<\/a>, describes the unique adventure that the Institute and the Foundation have embarked upon over the past two decades. A collaboration based on a shared commitment to innovation, research and the transformation of education. An alliance around a shared vision to build a sustainable and inclusive future. An overview of this exceptional partnership in three chapters.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Chapter 1: The meeting<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Chapter 1: The meeting -- \u00abAn adventure in the crossroads of knowledge\u00bb\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/GQ-3HJMNd44?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>This first chapter looks back at the origins of the partnership between the Learning Planet Institute and the Bettencourt Schueller Foundation. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fondationbs.org\/notre-communaute\/laureats-et-projets\/ivan-matic-et-francois-taddei\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Liliane Bettencourt Prize for Life Sciences<\/a> received in 2003 by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.learningplanetinstitute.org\/en\/biographie-francois-taddei\/\">Fran\u00e7ois Taddei<\/a> ; the encounter between two biologists, Fran\u00e7ois Taddei and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.learningplanetinstitute.org\/en\/biographie-dariel-lindner\/\">Ariel Lindner<\/a>, and their willingness to explore, through collaboration and interdisciplinarity, new ways of learning, teaching and doing research; the Foundation's interest in contributing to R&amp;D in the general interest and supporting <em>\u00aba proposal to invent something new that meets a real need\u00bb.\u00bb<\/em> (sic) <em>; <\/em>the creation of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.learningplanetinstitute.org\/en\/2021\/12\/17\/cri-transforms-into-learning-planet-institute\/\">Center for Interdisciplinary Research<\/a> (CRI) in 2006. It also traces the careers of two young talents: <a href=\"https:\/\/research.pasteur.fr\/fr\/member\/aude-bernheim\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Aude Bernheim<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.embl.org\/people\/person\/flora-vincent\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Flora Vincent<\/a>, alumni of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.learningplanetinstitute.org\/en\/eurip-graduate-school-fr\/#aire\">Master<\/a> and the\u2019<a href=\"http:\/\/www.learningplanetinstitute.org\/en\/eurip-graduate-school-fr\/#fire\">Doctoral school<\/a> developed by the Institute, have become brilliant researchers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Chapter 2: Taking flight<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Chapter 2: Taking flight -- \u00abAn adventure in the crossroads of knowledge\u00bb\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-8tTOMFaZj0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The second chapter explores the evolution of this partnership over the years. Thanks to support from the Bettencourt Schueller Foundation, the Centre de Recherches Interdisciplinaires (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.learningplanetinstitute.org\/en\/2021\/12\/17\/cri-transforms-into-learning-planet-institute\/\">CRI - then Learning Planet Institute<\/a>) has been able to develop innovative programs, anchoring itself in the world of research and education, while promoting a bold, collaborative approach. The Institute has also been able to offer students, researchers and teachers a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.learningplanetinstitute.org\/en\/our-sustainable-campus\/\">single frame<\/a> to rethink the future of education and society. An experiment as witnessed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/kevinlhoste\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kevin Lhoste<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/edwardstevenette\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Edward Stevenette<\/a>, This phase has enabled the Learning Planet Institute to multiply its impact and extend its links with other organizations. Drawing on the extraordinary experience we've gained over the past few years, and echoing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/fr\/summit-of-the-future\/pact-for-the-future\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">international stakes<\/a> - notably supported by\u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/fr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">UN<\/a> - to strengthen the real participation of young people in company decisions.\u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/sdgs.un.org\/fr\/2030agenda\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Global agenda<\/a>, Today, the Institut wishes to give young people the means to invent, co-construct and act together for the future. Like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/maiwand-qayomi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Maiwand Qayomi<\/a>, student from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.learningplanetinstitute.org\/en\/eurip-graduate-school-fr\/#aire\">Master<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/pearl-oriele-perumal-60a16a1b5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pearl Oriele Perumal<\/a>, winner of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.learningplanetinstitute.org\/en\/ydc-fr\/\">Learning Planet Youth Design Challenge<\/a> 2024, who embody the youth who are working to make a positive impact on the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>As the partnership comes to an end, the Learning Planet Institute remains true to its mission: to shape the education of tomorrow, by cross-fertilizing knowledge and co-constructing sustainable solutions to the challenges of today's world.
