The students set out to conceptualize innovative technological solutions, proposing a series of prototypes.<\/p>\n<p>Watch the final live to discover the winning concepts on December 16 <a href=\"https:\/\/maakplaats021.nl\/designathon\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"><u>here<\/u><\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>With so many different people, cultures and languages in Amsterdam, it's important that we all get along. Unfortunately, this isn't always the case. So the question arose: how do we connect all these Amsterdam citizens with each other? Who better to ask this question than children? They can really surprise us. Children always think freely, nothing is impossible for them and, as a result, they come up with refreshing ideas and conceptions - Martin Berendse, Director of OBA.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.oba.nl\/oba\/amsterdam-public-library.html\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"><u>Amsterdam Public Library Foundation (OBA)<\/u><\/a> is a public-interest cultural organization whose mission is to encourage the free flow of information in Amsterdam.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.designathon.nl\/\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"><u>Designathon Works<\/u><\/a> is an Amsterdam-based education center with its own educational method.
