The Council is made up of young change-makers under the age of 25 from all over the world, selected for a six-month term. They meet regularly to determine the best approaches and opportunities for the Circle to address issues such as youth rights, health and well-being, and education. Shortly afterwards, the <a href=\"https:\/\/projects.learning-planet.org\/projects\/NMpRjaJf\/summary\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"><u>Cercle francophone pour l'autonomisation des jeunes (French-speaking circle for youth empowerment)<\/u><\/a> was created in partnership with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ashoka.org\/fr-fr\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"><u>Ashoka France<\/u><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/cap-2030.org\/\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"><u>CAP-2030<\/u><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paris.fr\/\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"><u>The City of Paris.<\/u><\/a> These sessions aim to demonstrate the value of collaboration across networks, ages and geographies, with the common goal of supporting inspiring young people and change initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>The Cercle connects organizations that share the same goals and ambitions, and offers its members a space to share and promote their current work, initiatives and actions in support of key causes and the most pressing issues affecting young people today. In addition, it offers its members learning and feedback opportunities, and inspires them by sharing and accessing new ideas and best practices, which can lead to new ways of working and new youth support projects.<\/p>\n<p>So far, we've heard from over 25 young speakers in four interactive sessions from Australia, Cameroon, Chile, France, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Peru, the Philippines, South Africa and the United Arab Emirates, presenting their hopes, dreams and strategies for youth empowerment.<strong> <\/strong>We are committed to ensuring the diversity of the Board and encourage nominations from around the world.
