A look back at the \u201cReinventing the University\u201d Forum organized by the Institut des d\u00e9fis<\/h3>\n

The Institut des d\u00e9fis (IDD), whose mission is to support the University of Paris in its transitions to meet the challenges of our time, wanted to bring together its closest partners to devise collective responses to the common question: \u201cHow do we meet the challenges of our time?\u201cWhat are the major transformation challenges facing the University in 2030?<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n

This creative issue gave rise to the \u201cForum\u201cReinventing the University<\/em>\u201dThe event, which took place on Wednesday October 13 at the CRI, was attended by some forty members of institutions such as Universit\u00e9 de Paris, Ville de Paris, Universit\u00e9 de Cergy (CY) and Inalco.<\/p>\n

After an initial convergence workshop on the challenges of University 2030, the Challenges Institute team organized ideation workshops linked to the 3 key themes that had emerged: teaching new skills<\/em>, rethinking governance and anchoring the University in its local area.<\/em><\/p>\n

This facilitation gave rise to numerous possible solutions, real levers that could be activated for transformation, but above all it enhanced each individual's ability to resonate with the group and demonstrate rich, creative divergent thinking.<\/p>\n

In parallel with these collaborative experiments, the IDD organized a Market Forum presenting 6 of its 15 experimental programs in the fields of digital technology, pedagogy, participative science, and support for players in local and international networks concerned by the necessary changes in the university.<\/p>\n

Several participants then discovered this part of the institute's activity and were keen to learn more about the systems developed, so that they could implement them within their own departments.<\/p>\n

This time of exchange encouraged listening and dialogue, and suggests even closer collaboration between the various stakeholders in the co-construction of future objectives and the development of new IDD projects.<\/p>\n
