C\u2019est ce nom que Laelia Benoit, p\u00e9dopsychiatre et chercheuse \u00e0 l&#8217;universit\u00e9 de Yale (\u00c9tats-Unis) et \u00e0 l&#8217;Inserm (France) a choisi pour son projet de recherche, dont le Learning Planet Institute est partenaire. \u00ab <em>Nous voulions nous int\u00e9resser \u00e0 toutes les \u00e9motions climatiques, \u00e0 toutes les \u00e9motions de la plan\u00e8te \u00bb<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Laelia Benoit - R\u00e9duire l\u2019\u00e9co-anxi\u00e9t\u00e9 chez les enfants\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/cy8sL4vlqzA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Les premiers r\u00e9sultats de son projet de recherche sont clairs : il faut parler des changements climatiques pour que les enfants et adolescent\u00b7e\u00b7s soient en capacit\u00e9 de faire face \u00e0 l&#8217;anxi\u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9cologique (ou \u00e9co-anxi\u00e9t\u00e9), de transformer cette d\u00e9tresse en action climatique, et d\u2019ainsi favoriser leur bien-\u00eatre et leur sant\u00e9 mentale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Penser l\u2019engagement climatique comme une d\u00e9marche syst\u00e9mique, c\u2019est un des principes du Learning Planet Institute. C\u2019est donc convaincu par l\u2019importance de la d\u00e9marche scientifique de \u00ab <em>Earth Emotions \u00bb<\/em>, que l\u2019Institut est devenu partenaire du projet de recherche.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>EARTH EMOTIONS : FAIRE DE LA RECHERCHE SUR L\u2019\u00c9CO-ANXI\u00c9T\u00c9 DES ENFANTS<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab <em>Earth Emotions \u00bb,<\/em> c\u2019est un <strong>projet de recherche en deux phases<\/strong>. La premi\u00e8re, qui a d\u00e9but\u00e9 en janvier 2021, est constitu\u00e9e de recherches scientifiques pour comprendre l&#8217;impact du changement climatique sur la sant\u00e9 mentale des adolescent\u00b7e\u00b7s et pour \u00e9valuer leurs besoins \u00e9motionnels et leur capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 agir en faveur du climat.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour cela, l\u2019\u00e9quipe de recherche est all\u00e9e au contact d\u2019enfants de 7 \u00e0 15 ans : \u00ab <em>Quand on a 7 ans, on ne remplit pas de questionnaires pouss\u00e9s sur Internet, il nous a fallu aller \u00e0 leur rencontre pour savoir ce qu\u2019ils pensaient<\/em>. \u00bb nous pr\u00e9cise la chercheuse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les \u00e9tudes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 men\u00e9es dans trois pays diff\u00e9rents : la France, le Br\u00e9sil et les \u00c9tats-Unis, afin d\u2019appr\u00e9hender l\u2019impact culturel et social sur la compr\u00e9hension et l\u2019engagement du changement climatique. C\u2019est ce constat qui a motiv\u00e9 la phase 2 du projet : \u00ab <em>Earth Emotions Videos <\/em><em>\u00bb,<\/em> un projet \u00e9clair de six mois pour m\u00e9diatiser rapidement les premiers r\u00e9sultats de la recherche sous forme de vid\u00e9os courtes et accessibles au grand public (sur Youtube, TikTok et Instagram).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Avec l\u2019aide d\u2019Amber Acquaye, \u00e9tudiante en troisi\u00e8me ann\u00e9e de m\u00e9decine \u00e0 la Yale School of Medicine, des capsules vid\u00e9os ont \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9es afin de donner des outils pour parler du climat avec les enfants et adolescents, de r\u00e9pondre aux nombreuses questions du grand public \u00e0 ce sujet, et, <em>in-fine<\/em> de permettre l\u2019engagement climatique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Pourquoi la vid\u00e9o est un outil id\u00e9al de communication scientifique ?<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Accessibilit\u00e9 et attractivit\u00e9&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Diffusion rapide des r\u00e9sultats&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Engagement \u00e9motionnel : en racontant et en mettant en avant les actions positives des jeunes, elles visent \u00e0 mobiliser les \u00e9motions positives et \u00e0 encourager l&#8217;activisme climatique.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Compl\u00e9mentarit\u00e9 avec d&#8217;autres supports : les vid\u00e9os viennent compl\u00e9ter d&#8217;autres supports de communication du projet \u00ab <em>Earth Emotions \u00bb<\/em>, tels que des articles scientifiques, des conf\u00e9rences et des ateliers. Elles permettent de s\u2019adresser \u00e0 diff\u00e9rents publics et de r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 diff\u00e9rents styles d&#8217;apprentissage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>En coh\u00e9rence avec ses valeurs d\u2019engagement pour le climat et sa volont\u00e9 de diversifier les mani\u00e8res d\u2019apprendre, le Learning Planet Institute s\u2019engage aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s du projet de recherche du Dr Laelia Benoit. <strong>Agir pour le bien \u00eatre des enfants et des
