L\u2019\u00e9ducation a vocation \u00e0 pr\u00e9parer les individus et les communaut\u00e9s aux tensions que g\u00e9n\u00e8rent ces changements en les rendant capables de s\u2019y adapter et d\u2019y r\u00e9pondre. La pr\u00e9sente publication contribue \u00e0 relancer la r\u00e9flexion sur l\u2019\u00e9ducation et l\u2019apprentissage dans ce contexte. Elle aide l\u2019UNESCO \u00e0 accomplir sa fonction d\u2019observatoire mondial des transformations sociales, l\u2019une de ses principales missions, et a pour objet de stimuler le d\u00e9bat sur les politiques publiques.<\/p>\n<p>Cet appel au dialogue s\u2019adresse \u00e0 toutes les parties prenantes. Il est inspir\u00e9 par une vision humaniste de l\u2019\u00e9ducation et du d\u00e9veloppement qui repose sur les principes du respect de la vie et de la dignit\u00e9 humaine, de l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 des droits, de la justice sociale, de la diversit\u00e9 culturelle, de la solidarit\u00e9 internationale et de la responsabilit\u00e9 partag\u00e9e qui nous incombe de b\u00e2tir un avenir viable. Ce sont l\u00e0 les dimensions fondamentales de notre humanit\u00e9 commune.
