Student experience and generative AI: scaling individual learning paths

The focus will be on enhancing the student experience through personalized learning pathways, making education more responsive to individual needs. We hope to offer an insight into AI culture and its profound impact on teaching and learning, addressing key issues such as

  • How to teach and learn with AI?
  • How can we teach and learn in a world shaped by AI?

From defining student profiles to using AI to solve complex educational problems, we'll discuss how educators can effectively leverage AI tools to analyze student data, improve pedagogical approaches and create more engaging and adaptive learning environments

SPEAKER: Raphael Costambeys-Kempczynski

Raphael Costambeys-Kempczynski is Director of Education at the Learning Planet Institute and Senior Lecturer at the Sorbonne Nouvelle. His expertise covers cultural and media studies, innovative pedagogies and academic leadership. Over the course of his career, he has held a number of key positions in higher education, including interim president, vice-president, director of information and communication and department head. His research interests include popular music, student experience policy, innovative pedagogies and digital experiences.

Recently, Mr. Costambeys-Kempczynski has focused on the transformative potential of collective and artificial intelligence in higher education learning and management. His current work explores the intersection of AI and pedagogy, in particular how generative AI can be integrated into educational environments ethically and effectively. As a public speaker and thought leader, he regularly shares his ideas on the future of education, the influence of emerging technologies and the need to cultivate critical thinking in the digital age.
