CINÉMARDI - Screening “What solutions for a sustainable world?” (EP. 1/4)

How did man become a geological power capable of transforming the Earth?

What indicators characterize our development and what consequences does our presence have for the Earth system? How can we design a fair and secure framework for prosperity in the future?

These and many other questions are what we're proposing to answer with this year's joint viewing of a MOOC made in LPI! It was co-created by Gaell Mainguy and Challenge Institute, and comprises four episodes that we're going to discover together...

See you in the first episode (37 min) on the notion of anthropocene , the Tuesday May 02 at 5pm at the Learning Center. The screening will be followed by a time for discussion until 6 p.m. and of a glass.

More on episode 1:
It presents the main demographic, economic, social and environmental features of human development. It then looks at the central role of energy in these transformation processes, and goes on to describe the operating principles of the biosphere.

You won't be able to make it for this first session, but would you like to watch the episode and join us for the next ones?
