The Thematic Workshops is a week-long event taking place from February 23rd to 27th, where Master 2 AIRE M2 and PhD FIRE D2 students organise a scientific conference by inviting speakers on a specific topic.
You probably know a lot about cancer: types, causes and the challenges it presents globally but how much do you know about how discoveries in the lab actually become treatments for patients?
We're excited to invite you to our thematic workshop,
“From Bench to Bedside: The Journey of Cancer Therapeutics”
on Monday, February 23, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

This event brings together researchers, clinicians, and students to explore the journey from basic science to clinical impact. Throughout the morning, we will address key questions in cancer research and treatment and discuss how scientific breakthroughs become therapies for real patients.
You will hear talks from experts in the field, including:
- Dr. Meriem Koual, MD, PhD, Associate Professor in the Breast and gynecologic oncologic surgery departement at Georges Pompidou European Hospital
- Imge Ozugergin, PhD, a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Cell Polarity, Migration and Cancer Unit at Institut Pasteur
- Baptiste Arnaud, PhD candidate in Immunology, Institut Pasteur,
- Gabriel Mouillard, Medical Oncology Resident, CHRU Nancy (University Hospital Center of Lorraine),
- Manon Capdeville, third-year PhD student in Caroline Demangel's laboratory, Institut Pasteur.
You will also discover some of the latest research conducted by selected PhD students and enjoy the images submitted to our Scientific Art Contest.
