International Education Day at UNESCO - AI and education: Preserving autonomy in an automated world

L’UNESCO is pleased to invite you to celebrate International Education Day!

This year's event will explore how education can help everyone understand and direct artificial intelligence (AI) to ensure human control. It will also examine how to direct AI towards our common goals, respecting human rights and promoting progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals. Conferences and discussions will bring together key players in education: teachers, researchers, policy-makers and partners from the private sector.

With, among others, François TADDEI, Founder & President of the Learning Planet Institute

The event will take place on site at UNESCO headquarters in Paris, in France.

To ensure maximum reach and inclusiveness, plenary sessions will be broadcast live and an interpretation service will be provided in English and French.
