Programming for Universal Children's Day and the centenary of the Rights of the Child

On the occasion of the Universal Children's Day (November 20) and the centenary of the International Convention on the Rights of the Child (CIDE), the Learning Planet Institute wishes to make the voice of youth heard, and to bring together its different audiences and partners around a program designed for young people and for professionals in the educational sphere.

On the program: 

November 19, ae a day dedicated to young people

  • 9H30-10H30 - Institute Learning Center - Children's rights show A musical tale retracing the life and commitment of Eglantyne Jebb to children's rights. 
  • 10H45-14H30 - Institut Learning Center - Workshop / Creathon Builders of Possibilities® A workshop to raise awareness of children's rights, using the Bâtisseurs de Possibles® approach. At the end of the workshop, pupils from two CM1/CM2 classes from the Paris academy (Saint Sébastien school (11th arrondissement) and 12/14 Alésia school (14th arrondissement)), will present their proposals for defending and extending children's fundamental rights.

November 20, aday dedicated to education professionals

  • 9H30-12H30 - Institut Learning Center - Sharing innovative and inclusive teaching experiments for Youth around children's rights, well-being at school, tech and the Sustainable Development Goals.
  • 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm - MakerLab & Learning Center - Workshop Builders of Possibilities® immersive experience for education professionals: “Vivre la démarche Bâtisseurs” to make students actors/authors of their own learning.
