From lab to school: helping children with developmental coordination disorders

Developmental coordination disorder (DCD) affects around one child in every classroom. As common as dyslexia, it is much less well known. In this talk, we'll explain the specific characteristics of children with DCD and how we can help them at school. We will explore how the combined perspectives of cognitive scientists, teachers and children with DCD can help develop solutions to facilitate school inclusion.
