    R&D covers the Institute's cross-functional research and development activities.

    With over 20 years“ expertise in educational research, a dedicated research unit, 65 researchers and an average of 100 PhD students per year, it imparts rigorous scientific methods and nurtures the flagship activities of our Learning Planet Academy, particularly on topics such as learning transitions, the role of AI, impact assessment and co-construction with young people.

    Learning catalysed by digital technology and AI

    As experts in technology(s) for education, we implement the digital tools that support our Learning Planet Academy, experiment with innovative solutions using AI, and bridge the gap with European research and development projects in pedagogy and citizen science on which we collaborate.

    In addition, the Learning Planet Institute develops and deploys innovative digital tools facilitating learning and transformation.
    Our aim? To give everyone the means to learn, including about themselves, to do research and to act, together.
