The MakerLab is a place of innovation where frugal solutions – i.e., reproducible and open – to environmental and societal problems are imagined, prototyped and manufactured.

This place of exchange, learning and experimentation, covering 260m2 of the Learning Planet Institute’s campus, and composed of a workshop, a laboratory and a carpentry center, benefits students, researchers and project leaders alike.

Our team has developed particular expertise in accessibility for people with disabilities. Our aim? To help young people learn while innovating for the common good.

"A portée de scène"
Young people's ideas for accessible festivals

“À portée de scène” (Stage Within Reach) harnesses the creativity and innovative strength of young students who design and test new solutions to accessibility challenges in real-world settings.

By engaging younger generations, the project brings lasting change to the cultural events industry and unites stakeholders from universities, civil society, and the industry to make accessibility a shared cause.
