Provide teaching methods and tools for a different approach to science, video games and sports with children

Drawing on its know-how and experience in new ways of learning, at all stages of life, the Learning Planet Institute has created, built and tested a training module: «Taking ownership of new teaching resources »for animation professionals.

«This module has enabled me to improve the way I work and organize myself, to go further in my activities, and not to rest on my laurels. From a personal point of view, this training has given me greater self-confidence. Thanks to my speaking skills, I was able to speak in front of everyone (which wasn't easy at the very beginning).» Sabrina Rouibi, animator for 2 years.

This 15-hour course meets a number of objectives. It covers subjects that professionals don't usually tackle in their practices, such as science and video games. The module also proposes new practices on better-known themes, such as «do sport differently ». And allows professionals to leave with ready-to-use tools (scientific experiments, methodologies, etc.).

On the appropriation of these new teaching resources, Sabrina Rouibi adds:

«In the classroom, we were able to learn different techniques to ensure that the children had fun and didn't get bored of a game: changing the rules during the game, taking breaks, adapting the difficulty. Then introduce a debate at the end to listen to the children's impressions, feelings and so on. Online, I've gained access to new games that have helped me in my extracurricular activities.»

By diversifying and evolving the practices of professionals in the entertainment and early childhood sectors, the : «Taking ownership of new teaching resources »This is why we have set up a "Learning Center" that enables them to offer experiences with a high educational value. The aim is to ensure that every moment and every activity supports children, helping them to experiment, to develop, to come into contact with and understand their environment and the world around them. in fine find their place.
