Maker's Asylum is a community makerspace dedicated to fostering innovation through learning based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. We organize a variety of programs that foster community ownership of sustainable development. With over 1,000 alumni in 30 countries, the programs have a rich pool of interdisciplinary individuals who have partnered to create social impact over the years. SDG School is our flagship program, which comes in a variety of formats and is built on the pillars of design thinking, frugal innovation and rapid prototyping to encourage social entrepreneurship!
