Visit September 21, to organize the first-ever Global Bildung Festival. This is an online festival and, to make it accessible to participants from all over the world, there will be two events:
First World Education Day event, from 5 to 10 a.m. UTC / London time
Second World Education Day event, 5 pm to 10 pm UTC / London time
Festival objectives
It will be more of a global conversation than a standard online conference. The aim is to enable everyone to participate in as many conversations about bildung as possible with as many bildung people as possible around the world. Their aim is to spark a global conversation about bildung and organize similar events at the Equinox twice a year, every year.
You'll have the opportunity to meet colleagues from education, cultural institutions, science, traditional communities, psychology, leadership development, think tanks, futures studies and various NGOs.
What is bildung?
The word Bildung doesn't exist in English, so we use the German word, which covers many different aspects of the formation and transformation of their inner world. Here's the definition of European Bildung Network:
“The Bildung is the combination of the education and knowledge needed to thrive in your company, and the moral and emotional maturity to play as a team and have personal autonomy.
VisitBildung , is also about knowing your roots and being able to imagine the future”.”
