Catalyst 2030 is delighted to be collaborating with #LearningPlanet, in the hope that together we can achieve our vision and mission of reaching the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.
Catalyst 2030 is a global movement of social entrepreneurs and social innovators from all sectors (a collaboration of 439 members, 185 members working with education) who share the common goal of creating innovative, people-centered approaches to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030. Joining forces with communities, governments, businesses and others, Catalyst 2030 members are changing systems at all levels through collective action and bold new strategies. The group is inclusive and rapidly expanding to include governments, donors, bilaterals, multilaterals and others seeking to achieve the SDGs.
Catalyst 2030 members are driven by a desire to make a positive impact on the world and find sustainable solutions to unsolved problems. They have a proven track record of systems change, and their work complements governments' macroeconomic perspectives. More than 50 % of our members have implemented programs at the national level, and nearly 30 % organizations have successfully pushed through new government policies.
Next steps: We are working on a report on new allies, which will be given to governments and policy-makers to show them what social entrepreneurs need to be effective and contribute to achieving the Millennium Development Goals.
