CRI and Institut de Recherche pour le Développement strengthen their collaboration

CRI and IRD declare their intention to consolidate and strengthen their joint actions to promote the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and develop sustainability science, through education, research and innovation, for the benefit of and in cooperation with higher education and research establishments in the South.

CRI's mission is to explore and promote new ways of learning, teaching, researching and mobilizing collective intelligence to tackle the SDGs.

IRD's mission is to help strengthen the research and training capacities of developing countries, without distinction of institution.

Cooperative actions :

1) Organization of conferences on sustainable development goals and sustainability science

2) Organization of training courses on sustainable development goals and sustainability science

  • The #LearningPlanet project piloted by CRI
  • The Sustainable Development Goals Summer School, run by IRD alongside Agence Française de Développement (AFD) and Aix Marseille Université (AMU)

3) Support for innovative research initiatives

4) Cooperation in responding to calls for tender

5) Exchanges of expertise and experts
