“Connecting minds, creating the future”
Read below an extract from the official press release, written by Jean-Yves Le Drian, French Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs. The Dubai World Expo - the largest global gathering of the year - will take place from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022. This year's theme is “Connecting minds, creating the future” and invites synergies between political, scientific, architectural, artistic, economic and other players:
Putting scientific and technical innovation at the service of human progress: this is the ambition that France has sought to embody since the Age of Enlightenment. Faced with the current pandemic crisis, as well as the challenges of the ecological transition, new forms of mobility and the digital revolution, this ambition now takes on a new meaning and a new urgency.
That's why we wanted the French Pavilion at the Dubai World Expo to be an expression of the 21st-century Enlightenment, which we'll be working hard to bring to fruition with our sponsors from the 190 countries represented at this major event, in keeping with the slogan chosen by the United Arab Emirates: “Connecting minds, creating the future”.”
That's why the Pavillon de la France has designed the visitor experience in two parts:

At the Dubai World Expo, France will be promoting its know-how on the international stage. The Pavilion's ambition during the Dubai World Expo is to highlight France's commitment to building our common future through political, economic, cultural and social initiatives and actions. The French sponsors, actors and talents featured in the France Pavilion will express France's commitment to building a sustainable society, enabling France to defend its new vision of responsible progress.
