EDITO
by Ange Ansour, Director of Savanturiers - École de la recherche
This is the thirteenth week of an unprecedented global school experiment: educational continuity. More specifically, all over the world, we are witnessing an acceleration in the digital hybridization of education.
This phenomenon, like everything to do with education in times of crisis, lends itself particularly well to scientific investigation. In fact, digital education has concentrated three types of efforts and operating strategies. First, the efforts of individual agents: teachers, parents and students have found themselves confronted with a sometimes radical digital conversion. Secondly, institutional mechanisms, whether public agents or private operators grouped under the name EdTech, have deployed so-called “support” strategies for individual agents. Lastly, more or less formal collectives of teachers who resort to pedagogical poaching to prepare their pedagogical interventions have supported each other in the gigantic teachers' room that the Internet has become.
The third session of the’Digital University of Education will be devoted to the challenges of this widespread educational digital conversion. Jean-François Cerisier, professor of information and communication sciences, Vice-President of the University of Poitiers and Director of the Techné laboratory, will present the’NUNC! survey launched on March 16, which focuses on three areas of research:
- personal working environments and teacher practices,
- personal learning environments and student autonomy,
- the impact of public policies and commercial offerings on the practices of teachers, students and their families.
We will focus in particular on teaching practices during the seminar on June 10 at 7 p.m. on Youtube Live and Facebook live.
