Agence Française de Développement (AFD) is committed to achieving the Agenda 2030 through projects that make a tangible difference to people's daily lives, in developing and emerging countries and in the French Overseas Communities. Installing a water treatment unit in French Guiana, building a greenhouse on the high plateaus of Bolivia, reforesting the forest in India... these projects are concrete responses to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
The Agenda 2030 also concerns France, and many players are mobilizing to imagine and implement solutions: among them are associations, local authorities, companies and young people all over France. The Agenda 2030 represents a major opportunity for citizenship education, linking here and there, local and global, present and future.
