#LearningPlanet & CRI celebrates Earth Day!

  • International

As part of World Earth Day, to be held on April 22, CRI is organizing a round table online under the title : How can we integrate the challenges of ecological and social transition into higher education?

On this occasion, several questions will be shared and discussed in depth :

  • What knowledge and skills should be taught to students?
  • How can we produce teaching content to meet these new needs?
  • What teaching methods are best suited to understanding the issues at stake and engaging students in the search for appropriate solutions?
  • How can we encourage these new forms of teaching to spread throughout higher education? What are the obstacles? What type of training?
  • What place do these new courses occupy in the educational landscape, and how do they fit in with existing courses?

To fuel this discussion, a number of players in the transformation of education will do us the honor of taking part in this round table:

  • NATHALIE BLANC: CNRS Research Director/ Director of the Centre for Earth Policies
  • GAËLL MAINGUY: Director of Development and International Relations
  • GÉRALD MAJOU: Representative of the Conférence des Grandes Écoles (CGE)
  • RODOLPHE MEYER: Teacher and popularizer of climate-energy issues
  • MALOÉ ROGER : COP2 Coordinator Student
  • FLORENT VINCE: President of COP2 Student
