In September 2022, the United Nations hosted the first-ever High-Level Summit on Transforming Education, inviting stakeholders to propose commitments and address the challenges we face. Once again, we heard how enormous the needs are: in low-income countries, 25 % of young people and just over 55 % of adults are still illiterate, while 250 million children are still not enrolled in primary school.
