RISING, an immersive and engaging artistic experience presented at the Learning Planet Institute
As part of the White Night 2024 and ahead of World Ocean Day, celebrated on June 8, the Learning Planet Institute, in partnership with GoodPeopleWander and The Caring Gallery, will welcome the artistic duo MOUAWAD + LAURIER and their work RISING. This immersive and engaging artistic experience will be presented to the public on the night of June 1 to 2, on the Learning Planet Institute campus (75004).
RISING, an immersive exploration of rising sea levels to poetically raise awareness of global warming.
Maya Mouawad and Cyril Laurier have been working on innovative projects around the world for many years. On the occasion of White Night 2024, they unveil RISING, a nocturnal, immersive, sound and light installation to raise awareness of rising sea levels.
Through a poetic experience, the work speaks of our vulnerability, breaking taboos about the future that awaits us, putting anxiety aside and using aesthetics to become more resilient.

Since 2006, the Learning Planet Institute has been exploring, experimenting and sharing new ways of learning and cooperating to meet the needs of young people and the planet.

By presenting RISING to the public, The Learning Planet Institute is pursuing its ambition to mobilize and raise awareness of the challenges of today and tomorrow, particularly in terms of climate change.
