The European project IM-TWIN (from Intrinsic Motivations to Transitional Wearable INtelligent companions for autism spectrum disorder) came to an end in October 2023. The 3-year project, supported by 5 international partners, developed new interactive technologies, also based on Artificial Intelligence, to support early intervention in autism spectrum disorders (...) All experimental activities involving ASD and neurotypical children were carried out respectively at the University of Rome Sapienza, Department of Human Neurosciences, Section of Child Neuropsychiatry, supervised by Vincenzo Guidetti and Carla Sogos, and in a team led by Kevin O'Regan at the Institut Planète Apprentissage, Paris.
