A global commitment to learning how to take care of ourselves, others and the Planet

This year, the LearningPlanet Festival once again brought together thousands of participants from around the world to discuss education and major societal issues.

The 2025 theme: “Co-constructing a desirable future with and for youth”.”, The event highlighted inspiring and innovative initiatives aimed at transforming education and building a peaceful and sustainable future with and for young people.

Strong themes for rethinking education

The Festival explored key topics such as :

  • Co-constructing the future of education with young people
  • Peace education and global citizenship
  • The impact of AI on education
  • Well-being, mental health and human fulfillment
  • Education for sustainability and green jobs
  • Transforming education systems and learning ecosystems

The figures for this 2025 edition

  • More than 550 events on offer,  in France and abroad.
  • 50,000 online visitors of the Festival platform, from 180 countries, This marks a clear increase in overall commitment.
  • 107,000 unique page views of the Festival platform in 2025, compared with 77,000 in 2024.
  • Large-scale events such as those of the Study Hall Educational Foundation (SHEF) in India: 4,700 participants ; or “UN at Your Doorstep”organized by UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN): 1,000 participants online.

Inspiring events at the Learning Planet Institute 

January 23 marked a rich day at the Institute 

  • 150 on-site participants for enriching encounters.
  • Networking events with strategic partners, including a visit to the’UNESCO.

And finally, a national reach, via the Festival of Learning, the French version of LearningPlanet Festival, with dedicated events such as Paris, Lyon, Brest, Montpellier, Saint-Étienne or Biovallée.
