At the final of “The Schools Challenge” project, third-year students from collège Joliot Curie (Stains) and Didier Daurat (Le Bourget) in Seine St Denis presented their projects on the theme of «living better in the city». These projects were developed with their mentors CRI and JP Morgan during a 6-month sustainable development hackathon.
The Schools Challenge is a J.P. Morgan mentoring program, supported by the Savanturiers, designed to awaken the interest of middle school students in Seine-Saint-Denis in science and sustainable development, and to give them an insight into careers that require scientific skills.

What is The Schools Challenge?
The Schools Challenge is a J.P. Morgan mentoring program designed to awaken the interest of secondary school pupils in Seine-Saint-Denis in science and sustainable development, and to give them a concrete idea of the careers and professions that require scientific skills. The project offers students an original combination of notions and practices characteristic of both the business and research worlds.
Over a six-month period, CRI's scientific advisors provided the groups with knowledge of scientific methodology. The students were also accompanied by J.P. Morgan mentors, who guided them in the creation of their brand, project and business plan.
