What is your vision of youth empowerment? Why is it important to create a youth empowerment circle today?

My vision of youth empowerment is of a world where young people are responsible for their education and have the freedom to tailor their learning to their passions, curiosities and interests. It's also a world where young people are actively involved in understanding and solving the challenges of our time.
A youth empowerment circle has the potential to bring together people and organizations who have been working on similar issues to coordinate their action and advocacy to multiply their collective impact. It is also important to share learning and good practice.

What do you think the priorities of this circle should be?

In my opinion, the priorities of this circle should be as follows:

  • Reflect on what we believe in common and identify our points of disagreement
  • Sharing what we've learned with each other
  • Supporting each other to meet the challenges we face

What are the ideal circle results?

I imagine that this circle could lead to the following results:

  • Concrete projects
  • A collective statement underlining our common convictions and reasoning to be shared more widely
  • Creating a campaign or collective movement
