From Lab to School: helping children with developmental coordination disorder
Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) affects about one child per classroom. As common as dyslexia, it is much less well known.
In this talk, we will explain the specific characteristics of children with DCD and the ways to support them at school. We will explore how combining the perspectives of cognitive science researchers, teachers, and children with DCD helps develop solutions to facilitate educational inclusion.
