“AI for Collective Intelligence: How can AI & humans collaborate to transform learning & education?” is an all-day research workshop which will be held on the 11th of December 2024 at the Learning Planet Institute.
The workshop is organized by the Research Unit Learning Transitions (UR LT).
Short description of the workshop:
As part of our mission to transform learning in the age of AI, the Learning Planet Institute has developed AI tools such as WeLearn, to navigate learning resources, and Ikigai, for self reflexivity. This workshop tackles a new dimension by exploring how AI can scale collective intelligence, specifically within the context of learning and education.
The workshop consists of three interconnected phases based on the principles and methodologies of human-centered design, participatory design, and co-design: establishing a common understanding, identifying research objectives and designing research prototypes.
The workshop will bring together interdisciplinary experts to co-design a vision on the role of AI and collective intelligence in shaping the future of learning and education.
This workshop is part of a series on AI in learning organized by the UR LT. The previous workshop has explored the topic “Ethics of AI” (January 2024).
