Launched in 2026, the Learning Planet Youth Ventures programme is a first-of-its-kind online experiential pathway designed for young people aged 14 to 18 who are concerned about global issues and want to take concrete action on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations.
You’ll enter the 10-month incubation program with a clear interest in an SDG and embark on a purpose-driven journey that transforms your personal motivation into a credible, thoughtfully designed, and impactful project, guided by expert mentors and aligned with international standards.
With this project, you will be nominated to attend international (including UN level) conferences in-person, either during the duration of the program and/or as an active alumni.
A Structured Path from Purpose to Action
The program is built around a proven experiential learning framework
- Discover – Clarify who you are, why this cause is important to you and what you want to work on
- Ideate – Understand the problem deeply, identify real beneficiaries, and design a realistic solution
- Build – Turn your idea into action, via a prototype or pilot project, and learn how to communicate your impact
Throughout the programme, you will work on individual projects, while having the opportunity to forge informal links with an international community in order to share, help each other and exchange feedback at your own pace.
Mentorship, Funding, and Global Opportunities
Each student is paired with an expert mentor aligned with their SDG, providing guidance, critical insight, and support throughout the journey.
In addition to mentoring, the Learning Planet Youth Ventures offers concrete resources for turning ideas into action.
- USD 2,500 in seed funding per project, with at least 50% dedicated to supporting youth-led initiatives in the Global South
- Access to UNESCO- and UN-affiliated opportunities, conferences, and initiatives
- Support for participation in leading global youth competitions (such as the Conrad Challenge, the Diamond Challenge, science fairs, and more)

The program is fully online and designed for students around the world. It requires approximately 6–8 hours per month, as well as one monthly mentoring session.
Real Outcomes That Matter
By the end of the program, you will
- Create a fully structured SDG-aligned project
- Develop a concrete prototype or pilot action
- Create a professional project website and presentation materials
