The LearningPlanet Festival is back

from January 21 to 28, 2026!

Every year, on the occasion of International Education Day (January 24), the Institute is organizing the LearningPlanet Festival, in partnership with theUNESCO and hundreds of pioneering organizations in the fields of education, culture, science, social and environmental impact, as well as with thousands of students and young activists from all over the world. The Festival is an annual global event for learn to take care of yourself, others and the planet. Together, let's co-construct the future of apprenticeship!

The original LearningPlanet Festival is deployed around the world every year, with online and in-person events to celebrate learning.

A French version of the LearningPlanet Festival, the Festival de l'Apprendre is rooted in France through the local initiatives and ambassador cities that have made the Festival such a success in France.

The 2026 edition is already shaping up to be rich in discussions and collaborations around the world, and in particular at the Learning Planet Institute in Paris, for 2 exceptional days of celebration on January 21 and 22, 2026!

The day will bring together researchers from all over the world to discuss three major issues: peace, democracy and artificial intelligence. A privileged time to explore, think and exchange between academic leaders.

The Festival is an opportunity to compare ideas, approaches and cultures, and to learn how to act together. More than a breeding ground for innovation, it's a place for learning about democracy, and precisely for renewing it on the basis of shared fundamental principles, notably that of guaranteeing the right to quality education throughout life, and strengthening education as a public project and a common good.
