Creating a sustainable world means transforming education, both in and out of school. This obviously means building on what already exists, while helping those involved in education to acquire the tools, skills and conditions they need to enable students to meet the climatic, social and economic challenges of the future.. This reinvention of learning can only be achieved by mobilizing a multitude of players from different sectors. Aware of this challenge, the Learning Planet Institute has built up a year-round network.
Created in 2019 by the Learning Planet Institute and the’UNESCO, the LearningPlanet Festival (the French version of which is the Festival de l'Apprendre) takes place every year around the International Education Day (January 24).
The Festival de l'Apprendre is the perfect opportunity to shine the spotlight on all the players involved.·rices committed·es for a transformation of education in the light of climatic, social and technological challenges.

INITIATING A TRANSITION IN EDUCATION BY CHANGING THE WAY WE LEARN
RAPHAEL COSTAMBEYS-KEMPCZYNSKI, DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION, LEARNING PLANET INSTITUTE
Today, we talk a lot about ecological transition, but there are other transitions, notably education. Changing the education system is a major step towards working on these ecological transitions.
MURIEL MAMBRINI-DOUDET, DIRECTOR OF HIGHER EDUCATION, LEARNING PLANET INSTITUTE
We need to work on revealing and putting in place the right frameworks: those that will enable us to deal with complex information and situations, while mobilizing the necessary knowledge and knowing how to generate proposals to move forward collectively.
SÉBASTIEN MARTINEZ, FRENCH MEMORY CHAMPION
The challenge of education is to be on the same level as solicitations like Netflix, social networks... which mean that we can't consciously direct our attention. These solicitations divert us from our true objectives, from the being we want to become.
