Masterclass: Creativity and Innovation from a 7 Cs perspective, with Todd Lubart, Professor of Psychology, Head of the Chair ‘homo creativus’, fondation Université Paris Cité, France

This masterclass will explore the topic of creativity and innovation – how people get new, valuable ideas, and develop and exploit them. A 7 Cs approach will be presented in which the nature of Creators (personal characteristics), Creating (processes), collaborations, contexts, creations (productions), consumption (adoption of new ideas) and curricula (training for creativity) will be explored. Examples of research will be presented as well as some examples of tools or techniques to support creativity and innovation.

This programme of masterclasses is organized by the EURIP Graduate School (École Universitaire de Recherche Interdisciplinaire de Paris). Located at the Learning Planet Institute, in collaboration with Université Paris Cité, it brings together the Master of AIRE (Approaches to Interdisciplinary Research and Education) and the FIRE Doctoral School (Frontières de l’Innovation en Recherche et Éducation). EURIP welcomes postgraduate students and early career researchers who aim to address global challenges related to sustainability and Planetary Health through innovative, interdisciplinary approaches.
