Training Creative and Collaborative Knowledge Builders: a Major Challenge for 21st Century Education

To draft a paper as a contribution to the OECD Innovation Strategy on the features of educational approaches and systems that appear to stimulate creativity, initiative, and risk-taking among students. The paper (about 40 pages) would examine selected theoretical contributions from natural and social science and compare selected features of educational approaches and systems across OECD countries. Based on this review, the paper would discuss the main implications for
measurement and policy.
