October is called Pink October or Breast Cancer Awareness Month. To promote awareness about breast cancer and to bring together the LPI community I invite all of you to come and contribute to Community Art related to any cancer in the lounge.
Some of you might have noticed, that a large white canvas has been placed in the back wall of the lounge, near the stairs. Along with it are some posters and a breasties board to educate yourself about breast cancer, and some stationery on the right side on the pink ottoman for you to use to contribute to this initiative. You can draw, write, stick photos, articles, newspaper clippings anything, to express yourself and share your story (about cancer).
There is another section on the right-hand side where we expect to get ideas/suggestions from you to effectively promote health information kike that for breast cancer – games, apps, community meet-ups, etc.
This canvas is for you so please go all out and share your story or the story of someone close to you or just interesting facts/information about cancer.
You can also use the pink ribbons provided to make your own breast cancer ribbon and put it on yourself.
On the pink ottoman is also placed a feedback device. Please leave your feedback using that
I am hoping to see a blank white canvas turn into a beautiful compilation of art. This event will run for two weeks until the 22nd of October.
